New NPC Moh Shuvuu at x26 y18 in Nakano will give you the quest and take you to the event area.
To do the event, you must collect mittens from end loot chests of dungeons. (1 mitten is 1 run, every one in party needs to use 1 mitten, mittens do not need to be of the same type)
Bronze = mittens
Silver = good mittens
Gold = SUGOI MITTENS!!!!!!111!
The better your mittens the more snowflakes you get at the end of the event run.
Event Run
Start the run at Jack Frost (costs 1 mitten).
Be sure to set your temporary snowball fight skills to your bar, those are the only attacking skills you can use; defense skills are still valid. (There is 1 spin, 1 rush, 1 shot skill)
Talk to frost again to start run. Lasts about 5(?) mins.
Just kill as many demons as possible while trying not to get hit/defended. You start at 15 points (shown above your head) .
- getting countered -3 points
- getting dodged
- getting guarded
- big frost AOE attack -6 points
- kill Santa Frost +1 points
- killing many mini bosses of that level will spawn higher level mobs
[speculated] Score is determined by how far you get in the run, and snowflakes are determined by your individual progress eg. mob/boss kills, total points at end, which mitten you used...etc
Santa Frost Exchange
Santa Frost exchanges snowflakes for thingys~
Spending more snowflakes at Frost's store will open up new exchangeables and new NPCs up to 5 tiers.
Summoning Xmas Eve Angel will get you a discount at the Santa Frost Exchange~ Cus Santa Frost likes beautiful girls...

For full r4 you need to prepare 26 small runes of each path around 2.5m macca and 13.2k apples...and viola r4s! This seems almost too easy...I wonder if this could be done with 1 30 min inc.

So I tried out The R4 path and here are my results ._. The r4 rb set cost me about 4m (runestones included) I didn't end up buying all of them though, thank destiny for that also about 3-4k magsish?...I used a bead of speed (60 min one....wasted some of it though XD) And the whole process took about 2-2.5 hours. I had about 9 minutes left on the x10 inc but I wasn't speed clicking or anything so others could probably get more time out of their inc.
Some helpful tips that I thought of while doing this:
-Set your HP in babel by the nakano exit, less time walking to the cathedral :3 I walked to ichi for apples.
-If you are using a speed bead I suggest buying/gathering runestones first.
-Remember to unsummon your demon else you wont get the full set done in one incense.
-Rebirth in ingwaz first for less mag cost :D
-If you want to hold all the runes it'll be about 27 spots in your inventory
-I also walked so I used about 30ish traestos give or take a few XD I forget what I started with .-.
